About Me

I started doing graffiti around 1984 at the age of 14 after seeing the documentary Style Wars . I was inspired by the graffiti shown in the movie because there was no graffiti at all in this small city where I lived. At the beginning I was mostly sketching and trying out letters, however quite quickly I started to develop my own style. Nevertheless the size of the city limited my ability to do serious graffiti and to develop myself more artistically.

It didnâ€™t take too long before they were showing what was going on in Amsterdam with graffiti on TV. Of course I couldnâ€™t resist going to Amsterdam to check it out myself. I started going from spot to spot all over Amsterdam taking photos of pieces and at the same time doing graffiti there. I met click here to read more and no, you won't be forward to spam..

My Interests

Graffiti. ( After about 15 years of inactivity ( painting, not sketching ) i've decided to start doing gra ff iti again, in Peru though, not in The Netherlands ).

Mountainbiking ( Cross Country / Downhill / Freeride ).

Languages ( Beside my own language, Dutch, fluently English, German and Spanish. Apart from those i understand Portugese & Italian ). Traveling ( Well it's not much traveling anymore because i live in Peru since 6.5 years now ).

BMX ( Vert / Dirt / Ramp ).

the first piece below to the left is the first one i did after 15 years of inactivity with painting, it was done on a wall across the airport of Lima, Peru. First the idea was to do 3 "sal" pieces above eachother but after waiting like 4 hours before i finally was able to start, with a temperature of more then 35 degrees celcius in the hot boiling sun i just wanted to smack that one on the wall and get back home. another problem was that the colors of the cans i had with me were not fitting the 'theme' of the complete wall so i had to borrow some cans of the other guys and there wasn't enough paint to do 3 pieces and to be honest even if there was enough i didn't even want to do 3, i just wanted to get back home into the nice and fresh shade.

Shown below are just some of the sketches which can be found in the sketches section on my websites. Some of them i still have to put in my blackbook so that's why they are shown seperate.
At the moment i have such an amount of new material for new sketches that it will be updating the blackbook and sketches pages with the new material very soon and on a very frequent base.
