About Me

Music for me is a spiritual thing. It has to come from the soul & from the heart—if not, it ain’t real. So I do what I gotta do & I go with the flow. I’ve been into Hip-Hop since I was four years old. & I’m a B-Boy who never grew up. Born & bred in New York City, I truly love Hip-Hop culture. I’m from the ghetto just like you—where good people die & people grow old. For me, a pair of Technics are a work of Art; & for me, it will always remain that way. It took me about a good five years to learn everything I know about the 101 of dee-jaying: how to scratch, juggle, etc. But it was all worth it, because I feel I’m serving my purpose in life. I was born to be a dee-jay, beatmaker, & rapper. For me, New York City & the Bronx will always be infamous for being the home of Hip-Hop—big-up Brooklyn. Everybody knows the best emcees, for the most part, are from Brooklyn. Some people say they listen to all genres of music. I say I’m dedicated to Hip-Hop—& that’s from the heart. Most people don’t know that the actual, factual first Hip-Hop record was “The Double-Dutch Bus”; & for real Hip-Hop heads, ya’ll know what I’m talkin’ ‘bout. Much respect to The Sugarhill Gang. I remember, it was the late 70s, & cats was already breakin’ on top of cardboard in Harlem—134th St & Amsterdam. & The subways was rollin’ works of Art from graffiti writers, taggers, & bombers. I remember when people said rap was a fad. But it wasn’t. It was here to stay. & It evolved like the moon & the stars & took on a life of its own. Who would have thought, over twenty years later, it’d still be alive & kickin’ & a household name. Speaking of rap & Hip-Hop culture, one cannot fail to mention Biggie Smalls: the greatest rapper of all time: Brooklyn’s finest. When I heard Biggie Smalls in the early 90s, I knew he was gonna be a problem. He brought the Hip-Hop crown back to New York City. Hip-Hop was in a grim state before he came along. Biggie Smalls RIP. I am inspired by those who push the envelope, & he was a pioneer. God bless his soul. We miss you. Fo’ sho’ I miss you. DJ Career aka Baby Boss the Holocaust. Like most hood boys, I love my mother. If you cross the line with Moms, that’s a reason to go to War. I’m ghetto for real. & I love it. That’s where my essence lies. I love the underdog & I root for the bad guy. I love cornerstore bodegas. I’m Hip-Hop ‘til the pits bark. Don’t underestimate me. This is just the beginning. & there’s more to come. Stay tuned & be intrigued. I could be your enemy or I could be your fat homie. You don’t know me! Here comes RESPECT!!! Big-up the five boroughs & LOVE FOR ALL BLACK PEOPLE!!! Peace!!!
