I have played with Sebastian John and Julian Verkaaik for the past two years. We do not have a band name yet, but we do have about fifteen songs.Simon's Solo Stuff was recorded between 1999 and 2007. I have recorded solo work since I bought a four-track in 1999. I recently learned to use a laptop and a four-channel mixer instead. It sounds better.Based on Actual Events was recorded in 2001. I played in this band from 2000-2001. We came up with some good stuff and played around Wellington several times.Kids was at the same time as Based on Actual events. We shared the same drummer (me) and bassist (Saradha, who later joined Based on Actual Events after Vanessa left), only Phill was the guitarist and singer in this one. Recordings were Phill and I in 1999; we didnae record with Saradha in 2001.I played in Pict from 1997 to 2006-ish, on-and-off. We recorded our main songs in 1999 at my flat in Mt Victoria in Wellington.Revere was recorded in 1997. I played guitar in Revere from 1996 till 1999. We played several gigs in Paraparaumu, Wellington and Lower Hutt. That was as angsty as my/our music got. I still like the sound of it after ten years. That's a good sign. I became a drummer after this band, preferring the "full-bodily experience" - and after telling the drummer what to play a lot...
