Sumomo-suki was created in 2004 as the culmination of a lifetime’s interest in creating art and expressing myself. I draw my inspiration from influences ranging from ultra feminine dress of the 19th and 20th century to contemporary modern designs and even sweet confectionary delights! Starting out as a kid stitching little shoes together for myself and illustrating my own make believe fashion magazine, I’ve always felt fashion design had a special place in heart. I am very grateful to have such an opportunity for creativity, so it is without a doubt that I take great care in the construction and quality of each item I make.
