=========================================================I love to laugh! Whenever I watch this, especially....TRAVEL!!! Paris is a favorite, and Prague is great. I have this weird thing about visiting old cemeteries... the Pere Lachais in Paris is really cool, oh, and the Paris Catacombs are sooo creepy... and then the old cemeteries in Austria are interesting. Coolest are the British ones, there are such old, old graves there and it's just amazing to me. Anyhow, back to 'regular' stuff -- Shopping in Europe is fun but can be daunting... I also love going to art museums, the big ones in big places - Musee Dorsay, yes, the Louvre, NYC's Metropolitan Museum of Art, DC's National Museum of Art, etc. I enjoy reading, watching movies, photography - though I'm more a snap-shot kind of girl - but I try! Making jewelry is a big hobby of mine, people-watching, cat-rescueing, listening to varied styles of music, I love going to see musicals (Wicked was the last good one), ice-skating (doing or watching), lunching with friends, gabbing with friends.... But let's face it, the last two are what I spend most of my time doing...and shopping, did I already mention shopping?!catherine tate

Anne Frank. Ralph Waldo Emerson. Virginia Woolf. Elvis. Gerard Butler. Can I have them all over for tea? And then I would like to meet Adolf Shickelgruber and the inventor of low-waisted jeans so I can personally kick their asses for the horrific crimes they have inflicted upon mankind................................
I'm all over the place on this one. I still love, love, love, CHARLIE SEXTON!! I must have JEFF BUCKLEY available at all times (RIP). Brian Doidge - I just have to have his name somewhere. I like classical (Nessun Dorma; Viens Malika; Carmina Burana), I hate rap and am not fond of country. I still like some 80's music (Duran2, Flesh for Lulu, The Cult, Boy George, Roxy Music) Robbie Williams, Annie Lennox, Patty Griffin, Hanoi Rocks, Spice Girls (haha), Seal, U2, Patsy Cline, The Replacements, Lords of the New Church, Elvis, Jayne County, New York Dolls, Jacques Brell, Serge Gainsbourg, Falco, Barry Manilow, Tom Jones... I grew up on Sinatra, Streisand, and show tunes (does that make me a gay man??). Lately? I'm all about soundtracks....
Gone With the Wind; Pride and Prejudice (BBC version with Colin Firth); Sense and Sensibility; ATONEMENT!; Notting Hill; Bridget Jones' Diary; Shakespeare in Love; The Pianist; Down by Law; Amelie; Paris Je T'aime; Waitress; Becoming Jane; Betty Blue; Shawshank Redemption (every time it's on cable I get sucked in); It's a Wonderful Life; Love Actually; Unfaithful; Lost in Translation; Hedwig and the Angry Inch; Brokeback Mountain; Sling Blade; Phantom of the Opera; The Hunger; Half Light; La Femme Nikita; Un Long Dimanche de Fiancailles; Muriel's Wedding; Becoming Jane; Bride and Prejudice (Bollywood, baby!), The Bourne Identity trilogy movies; just saw Forgetting Sarah Marshall and laughed and laughed..... oh, and I love anything with Hans Matheson, Gerry Butler, Adrien Brody, James MacAvoy, Orlando Bloom, Heath Ledger, or Jude Law......
I miss: Absolutely Fabulous; Friends; Sex and the City. There's nothing else I like on tv! Occasionally, I watch Men in Trees, Ugly Betty, and I really love the new series on AMC "Breaking Bad"...it's awesome! I also love, love, love Catherine Tate (am I bothered?) and Extras, Ricky Gervais is genius. I get sucked into watching the Discovery Health channel to see super-surgeries, TLC's What Not to Wear, and Animal Planet to see Animal Cops. (Save the animals, damnit!) But honestly, I should really cancel my cable because I hardly watch it - Netflix rules now!
I adore Jane Austen; Virginia Woolf (Orlando; Mrs. Dalloway); Dickens; Maeve Binchy; Rosamonde Pilcher; Tracy Chevalier; Elie Wiesel; Toni Morrison; Sophie Kinsella; Shakespeare (of course!). Gone With the Wind; The Thorn Birds; To Kill a Mockingbird; Where the Red Ferns Grow; Are You There God, it's Me Margaret (Judy Blume rocks!); Atonement; Wicked; Son of a Witch; all of the Harry Potter books (finished the last one and am satisfied by the end, for the most part)... Classics are great: Jane Eyre, Wuthering Heights, Far From the Madding Crowd, Paradise Lost, Canterbury Tales, Lady Chatterley's Lover, Perfume, Tess of the D'Urbervilles, Jude the Obscure, Howard's End, The Scarlet Letter... Also, Atonement, by Ian McEwan was brilliant!
Veterinarians; Cops; Doctors; Teachers; Caregivers; Firemen; as well as the inventors of velcro, spandex, bleach, flat-irons, and the Pill!!!!!! ========================================================= =========================================================
