GREETINGS:
Sup yall :-) X here. Y’all don’t know who X is? Peep this. If you get around, you’ll probably see me alot of different places. Sometimes I hang out in the underground rock scene, some times I hang out in the streets. Sometimes I dwell in the lower regions of the Goth society, some times I even set up camp near the fetish freaks. I like to make friends all over.
So what am I doing here? Just trying to make my mark on this world while I’ve got the time to do it. We’re all on a unique journey toward something greater, perhaps even something in nthe next life. I used to ask my self why God would allow this world to get so messed up. After living in this world for 26 years and seeing how most of my peers (and some relatives even) who don’t die or shoot themselves sooner or later try to step on me or betray me, I now realize that this life is a gift with an expiration date (which is also a gift). Everything in our lives from global warfare to our personal finances are a direct result of choices we’ve all made in our lives. We choose to snort another line, spend another dollar, and sleep with one more person without demanding a committment. We’ve been created, self aware and conscious, to see which of us is going to grow beyond our selves to become part of a greater purpose. I’m inspired by the stars, see how they burn. They loose themselves, turning into light for us. And when they burn out they will not matter, only the path they’ve lit for us will have mattered. When I burn out, my name will not matter, only what I have done will matter. The Christ opened the door for his Apostles, and they chose to walk through it. Through their writings the Apostles opened the door for me, and I chose to walk through it. Now it is your turn. I’ll try to show you to the open door, will you choose to walk through it?
MY MUSIC:
I like all forms of music from Hip-Hop to Rock music, Jazz, Classical, R&B, Club, Drum N Bass, movie soundtracks, even some country every now and then.
The main constants in my music are my voice and my perspective. My faith and beliefs emmerge alot in my music which makes it hard to find a venue; I’m not a run of the mill average "Christian". I tend to stray from using titles because terms like "Christian" or "religous" mean different things to different people.
MY BELIEFS:
I feel that God allowed us to be incomplete so that we could learn to rely on Him and find our destiny (completeness) in communion with Him. I also feel that ones relationship with God is a very personal thing. People today have made Christianity a fairy tale of upper-middle class white americans who never say or do anything that would show their bad side and live happily ever after. Instead of really trying to grow from the inside out, people seem preocupied with convincing others of their "good nature" by their outward acts. Where I come from, we stir up the dirt and have to shower at the end of every day.
MY GOOD NATURE:
I’m a strong 35% sadist, and a good 65% massochist. When I was younger I experimented around with bi-sexuality. I still consider myself a virgin though (read my blog to understand) and I have not done any fooling around since I was pretty young. I’m waiting to find the right woman to be my best friend and explore with me the many different levels of intimacy. After we marry, of course.
MY SALVATION:
I believe that the act of Baptism is a spiritual appeal to God for completeness, similar to a wedding ring. (1 Peter 3:21) From then .. is a life long process (not the overnight change many claim to have embraced) and throughout the process of our growth the blood of Christ atones for what we haven’t yet learned to overcome. (Let the seasons change and the fruit ripen before you cut down the tree)
I hope my music will express these ideas effectively in a way that will inspire my fans and friends. I also hope my music will help the listener to break out of their box and expand their horizons. ThanX for listening!
