About Me

Decomatize is an up and coming industrial band from the St. Louis area. Fronted by the lovely Miss Amy, the band offers a unique sound of pure chaotic synthesized bliss. The music you hear wasn't written for the sole purpose of selling records. They are songs about life experiences. The songs were written to bring hope and give listeners something to relate to.The Sleeper EP: For those of you who would like an actual copy of our debut "The Sleeper EP", send $10 through PayPal to [email protected]. We plan on taking Decomatize all the way. but we don't ever want to forget the people who talk to us and listen to our new songs and read our blogs and leave us comments. Thats what it's all about. We hope that the songs on this EP are an inspiration to everyone who hears it. The songs are about overcoming inner struggles and becoming a stronger person. It's also about being awake and breaking out of this coma-like state that society seems to be in. You don't know what to believe anymore with all the conspiracies and horrible acts going on in the world everyday. You don't know who to trust and most of all you don't know which way to go. Theres a million people out there claiming to have the answers and every one of them is waiting to catch you so they can suck you in. Drugs will not give you peace. The man on the TV can offer you peace but he cant really give it you. Religion can offer you peace but without something more it's merely a list of rules and ceremonies. We don't have all the answers but we are seeking them every day. Thats all you can do. You have to be the best person you can today and pray that tomorrow comes. Thats what's this EP is really about. Being the best. Being awake. We hope you all enjoy it.
