Impossible to know where to start... but when i Dj i play Ryan Adams, Whiskeytown, Wilco, Leeroy Stagger, Jayhawks, Old Crow Medicine Show, Nickel Creek, Nathan, Patsy Cline, Bobby Bare Jnr, Willie Nelson, Pete Yorn, Bruce Sringsteen, Bob Dylan, Rolling Stones, Lucinda Williams, Kathleen Edwards, Dolly Parton, Johnny Cash, Jesse Malin, Jesse Sykes & the Sweet Hereafter, the Doors, Bonnie Prince Billy, Gram, Emmylou, Gillian Welch, Byrds, LongRyders, Beach Boys, Loretta Lynne, Townes Van Zandt, Steve Earle, Martha Wainwright, Creedance... you get the picture. Bands who i love who play regulary around London include, Jason McNiff, Grand Drive, Redlands Palomino Co, The Broken Family Band, Circulus, The Eighteenth Day of May, Emma Tricca, the Coal Porters, Goldrush, the-low-country, EMILY BARKER AND THE RED CLAY HALOS - wow how come i didn't mention them before they rock super hard, Christopher Rees, Alan Tyler, the Tailors, Ida and the Hos. Whatever's on at whatever pub i'm in. I can't bear Coldplay, I'd rather make myself vomit. Other artists who i delight in making people listen to that aren't strictly country or folk are: Rufus Wainwright, Robyn Hitchcock, Toots and the Maytals, the Finger, the Killers, We Are Scientists, Jimmy Cliff, PJ Harvey, you know... the usual indie/schminde stuff...
