Influences: i like the meat puppets, the minutemen and husker du. these are the bands that made me want to pick up the guitar. also, neil young, stooges, nina simone, velvet underground, the replacements, the beatles, john coltrane, funkadelic and good trad music like sweeneys men, the dubliners, pogues, planxty, frank harte, niamh parsons, happy city and world music. i've been in few bands over the years and one of the recent ones was a band called horn of plenty from 2003-2005. it was a great fun time and we did many gigs but later like most bands it also got a little intense too. the lead singer derick fitzpatrick beleived in me when i was giving up the music and he invited me to join his band. since then ive been playin music non stop, going to college, studying music. derick sadly passed away in feb 2006 and horn of plenty can never be without our frontman. thankfully, some of the music was recorded and theres a video below of dericks song 'love in your heart'. thanks derick, for your encouragement and vision.
