About Me

Singer from Dublin in ireland. I just finished a 2 year Highter National diploma in traditional music performance at Ballyfermot college in Dublin. I also have a diploma in popular music performance (rock school). Im a singing teacher now for 5 years and i also teach folk songs and ballads to teenagers in my local secondary school. Im involved in lots of musical activities and i've been involved in rock, pop, jazz and folk bands and i also do alot of session work. I play the mandolin, tin whistle and the bodhrán but my main instrument is my voice. Im persuing a career in folk music and would love to travel all over the world doing what i love.

Influences: Love every kind of music. I love jazz,folk, rock, oldtime Appalachian music and bluegrass (there is a difference between the two!) and some pop music. Pink Floyd, Neil Young, Led Zepplin, Woody Guthrie, Bob Dylan, Ewan Maccoll, Martin Carthy,Crosby,Stills and Nash, The Corries, Christy Moore... I love sourcing and learning folk and traditional songs and tunes and keeping them alive.
