About Me

RUTH, is a new band out of Boston, formerly known as Amusia.
In 2005, Amusia released 'Way Back Down', produced by Matt Russell, mixed by Matt Russell and Tom Polce. This cd would be the catalyst for a name change as the trio had regained focus and old members in amusia had come and gone.
Leaving the old band behind, the trio changed the name to RUTH and began recording a new CD "On Every Road" in Fall of 2006.
At the start of 2007 Ruth was diagnosed with cancer. After undergoing major surgery and 6 months of chemo she is excited to be singing again, the band couldn't be more proud.
