Greetings, all! Chris here, 10-year cancer survivor, LAF staff member, and the grassroots events coordinator here in Austin. More than 10 million Americans are currently living with, through or beyond cancer.
More than 1.3 million people in the U.S. will be diagnosed with cancer this year.
Of adults diagnosed with cancer today, 64% will be alive five years from now.
One in three people will be diagnosed with cancer during their lifetime.
Three in four families will care for a family member with cancer.
1,500 people will die today from cancer, 1/3 of those could live just with better access to existing care

Kicking cancer's butt, helping those fight the good fight, and doing whatever it takes to help people live with, through, and beyond cancer!
