About Me

We played 50's rock n roll, I also played guitar for a contemporary Christian group. I attended Lincoln Christian College for a year and a half, where I started a Christian rock band called One Accord, and also was in a rock n' roll band called Fat Chevy and the Slicks. In case you didn't know, I'm the one with the long hair.I accepted Christ as my Savior when I was 4. Some people would say how can that be? You weren't old enough to know what it meant to become a Christian, but I remember that moment as if it were yesterday. I've had alot of ups and downs in my life, but don't worry I won't go into all the details here. The most recent life changing event occured Sept 1st, 2006 at 2:30 in the afternoon. At the age of 49 I had a heart attack. I can't begin to tell you all the things that ran through my mind while being flown by helicopter to the hospital. One thing I realized though was that I didn't fear death. I knew that if I died, Jesus would be there waiting for me. And that God would take care of my family just like He always has.Last Call is the name of the band in which I and three other guys share our life stories through the music that we play and the words we sing in hope that you too can know of the saving grace of our LORD and KING, JESUS CHRIST. BOB REAMON-I began playing drums and piano when I was 7 and wrote my own piano recital solo when I was 12. I liked writing almost as much as playing. I also learned trumpet at an early age and a little guitar.I played in rock and country bands when I was 12 and started playing in bars when I was 14. By the time i was 19, I was playing all kinds of music and doing all kinds of wrong things. I enlisted in the US ARMY BAND and became an honor graduate at the ARMED FORCES SCHOOL OF MUSIC. I thought I was pretty cool then, but my life was a mess.I enrolled at the University of Utah to major in Jazz Composition, but the professors all said I should be out playing, not studying. So I left after 2 years and played various jazz and recording gigs and made some albums (all playing the drums). I built a project studio in the 80's and earned some awards for writing advertising jingles, and I managed a studio for the Allman Brothers for a summer. I was primarily a drummer, singer, songwriter and a selfish jerk. I really didn't start playing guitar often until a year or so after the Lord took my soul in 1991. My life was crumbling due to my worldly musician lifestyle, but God reached down my throat and pulled my heart out. It's been His ever since. I started leading worship from the piano and then was hired as a worship pastor at a church that had some great keyboard players, so I picked up a guitar. Now I write, sing and play for the glory of the Lord. Everything I am, everything I have is His and His alone. I pray that God will use the music to plant seeds in the souls of the lost, and encourage the saved. DUANE COOK-I was born and brought up in Richland Center, Wi. As a preschooler I took violin lessons at an Apostolic church and played in their church orchestra. At 13 I learned to play guitar. I also play trombone, banjo and bass guitar. I accepted Christ as my Savior at 19 during a Sunday evening service. I like cars. Right now I live in Dodgeville with my wife and two teenage daughters. MARK BENDER-Jesus came into my life in 1986 and He's been my blessing. God found a way to use me through music. I never played an instrument, but God gave me an opportunity to learn to play the drums. I met these guys a few years ago and we all had the same passion to serve God. We all pretty much like the same style of music and we all love Jesus . Need I say more? I think not. May we all be a blessing to you as you are to us.
