About Me

Solo Acoustic Guitarist and Bass Player in hard rockband "GinJan", Nick likes to keep busy. "I currently play an average of 200 shows a year travelling mostly between Townsville and Adelaide and anywhere in between. I do 70,000km every year and I like to play country pubs as well as the city venues, so I'm likely to pop up anywhere. Most of my own songs are written for the band, but I am starting to write songs for my solo acoustic set, which at the moment is predominantly covers. Our band GinJan had our first film clip on RAGE last year with our song, "Try Rockin' in Nepal, Asshole" and we will be releasing two more in the months to come, "Girl in Motion" and "Stop, Drop, Rock'n'roll. On the solo side of things, I am currently working on my first solo clip, "Rob Me Blind". Nick started playing bass with "Motorvators" in 1983, a south-west Victorian rock band. He stayed with Motors for 15 years, travelling half a million kilometers and playing over 1500 live shows. This legacy of travelling and performing live has continued up to the present day and at the time of writing Nick has played over 2500 shows. more at www.nickhow.com
