Lee Morgan a knock down walls guitarist, is a floor shattering and earthmoving barrage of sheer rock and country.Picture a mix between Mark Knoffler, Eddy Van Halen, Brad Paisley and the fire and passion the likes of Hendrix.Morgan’s niche in the rock world has come from a history of folk, roots and country-rock performing with some of Australia’s legendary musical artists including Midnight Oil, Archie Roach & Ruby Hunter, Shane Howard, Paul Kelly, Yothu Yindi, Ganga Gang, John Stevens (Noiseworks), Dean Geyer, Guy Sebastian, Damian Howard and the Gentle Souls, The Ploughboys, Marcia Howard, Andy Alberts, Brolga Boys, Jarrah.This songster/guitarist has much to say in his music. He is continuing the storytelling that was inspired by his indigenous grandfather the great Banjo Clarke (Wisdom Man) that we all share the land we walk on as expressed through his inspiring track “Reconciliation Songâ€.Lee’s lyrical depth and uplifting guitar rifts draw his audience and cleanses the musical palate. His music is straightforward and honest incorporating Australia’s cultural journeyâ€.Lee Morgan’s second album aptly named ‘Sonnyboy’ captures a portion of who he is and what he believes in.Coupled with live performance and session work Lee teaches guitar and mentor to many aspiring young musicians, as well as some already established Australian artists. He involved in the Indigital Centre in Melbourne, where Lee shares his passion of music to inspire indigenous and non-indigenous students in the art of song writing, song creation and the healing magic of music.
