Loose Chippings

"Loose Chippings" have been turning audiences on since the late 1990s with their exciting blend of dynamically played and arranged Folk/Rock. Almost ashamedly toying with the emotions of their ever-growing following of admirers by mixing evocative rock and traditional ballads with "dance till you drop" jigs,reels and polkas underpinned by drums,bass and percussion. Sometimes enigmatic or ethereal then suddenly the dance floor is crowded and the mood resembles a party. Thought-provoking songs from the middle ages sit side by side with those of the mid 1960s folk boom years carrying the banner of social and political justice, changing through the progressive rock influence of the 1970s and finally modernizing into the dance- inducive and percussive rhythms of our era.
