We love the following poem by Pablo Neruda: this is the right way we think and just living in this way we have been reaching this point of our life...wish to share with our friends: let's read and meditate!!!!
Leggete e meditate!!!
Pablo Neruda - Die Slowly
He who becomes the slave of habit,
who follows the same routes every day,
who never changes place,
who does not risk and change the color of his clothes,
who does not speak and does not experience,
dies slowly.
He or she who shuns passion,
who prefers black on white,
dotting ones "it’s" rather than a bundle of emotions,
the kind that make your eyes glimmer,
that turn a yawn into a smile,
that make the heart pound in the face of mistakes and feelings,
dies slowly.
He or she who does not turn things topsy-turvy,
who is unhappy at work,
who does not risk certainty for uncertainty,
to thus follow a dream,
those who do not forego sound advice at least once in their lives,
die slowly.
He who does not travel, who does not read,
who does not listen to music,
who does not find grace in himself,
she who does not find grace in herself,
dies slowly.
He who slowly destroys his own self-esteem,
who does not allow himself to be helped,
who spends days on end complaining about his own bad luck, about the
rain that never stops,
dies slowly.
He or she who abandon a project before starting it, who fail to ask
questions on subjects he doesn't know, he or she who don't reply when
they are asked something they do know,
die slowly.
Let's try and avoid death in small doses,
reminding oneself that being alive requires an effort far greater than
the simple fact of breathing.
Only a burning patience will lead
to the attainment of a splendid happiness.

E' storia ragazzi!Gregory Jack Patton
Music is life, it's that simple.
A farti sentire importante e vivo.
Siete stati grandi ragazzi!
Sonia Milan, born in Milan on 24th August, 1959. Singer, song-writer, actress, guitar player. She works with Studio Festi in Varese, (Italy), both as actrees and singer and also making their soundtracks for their outdoors shows and in the musical direction. She tapes the songs she writes with Greg on their Pro Book Mac, using Logic Express. They play Martin D28 6 strings, Takamine and Cort 12 strings, Rickenbaker (1967 and 1985) 12 strings and 6 string (see in the videos below). Greg's picking is something of special and he is the best metronome between the two because Sonia always is used to run too much! She loves awake with the smiling on her face, this makes easier everything! She has been singing and playing her classical guitar Raspagni since she was 12th years old: Fabrizio Da Andrè was her first inspirer, together with Joan Beaz, Violeta Parra and Giovanna Marini.
She has been started very soon making music her job, running for many years together with another musician a museum they created, collecting more then 10.000 musical instruments from all over the world, making shows for kids where musical instruments were characters which spoke to the young audience in a very easy way. They also performed for several important theaters in Italy as Teatro alla Scala in Milan, Teatro Massimo in Palermo, La Fenice in Venice ans so on... and appeared also in national TV (Rai) and private tv (Mediaset).
She has been studying singing with Mary Lindsey in Milan and also by Civica Scuola di Musica in Milan.
She always found easy to speak in many different languages, both official then ethnic and this made her singing unique and original.
So she speaks and sings in Italian, French, English, Spanish, Germany and many different languages of different land in the world as swaili, quechua, swomi, gaelic ecc ecc, besides all the Italian dialects.
She loves opera and her voice is a mezzo. At 11th years old she learned by memory the whole "La Traviata" by Giuseppe Verdi and then felt definitly in love with Madama Butterfly by Giacomo Puccini, her prefeured composer. For this reason her nickname on www.catstevens.com was Ciociosan as Madama Butterfly. Then come Mozart, Rossini, Offenbach, Satie. She studied singing with Mary Lindsey in Milan. Her voice is a mezzosoprano. She also sings lieds by Schumann and Schubert, traditional italian music and all she likes! In the early 80th she worked with the first free musicians association in Milan called "Cooperativa L'Orchestra" where there was bands like Stormy Six (who played before The Beatles in 1965 in Milan at Palalido), Etron Fou, and the best voice of Rock in opposition, a cultural corrent against the music business monopoly.
She 's always ready to learn a new song, new chords on the guitar, just as
Greg often teached her. Her life is her three kids, Greg, her mom and her kindest old and new friends she has been found in California and in many part of the world thank to the web! Gregory Jack Patton born at Cherry Point (North Carolina) on 6th August 1955. At the age of 6th, he moved to Southern California, Orange County. He felt in love with the guitar and her mom helped him to get one at the age of 8th years old; he studied by himself, staying hours and hours in front of the tv staring the position of the bands and the singers! He has become a wonderful guitar player and singer...His voice so sweet and light, fly over the chords to me!
At 17th he listen for the first time live to a certain...James Taylor who he didn't know until that magic moment.
When he saw 20.000 people whispering "You can close your eyes"...found himself crying and took the decision to learn all those fantastic songs. So...he did!
His motto is "Music is life...it's that simple" He is always positive and to me he represents the sun because his smiling lights up everytime he does it! He is a real knight and a gentleman, alway ready to listen to you, to support you and all the friends and the family! He is able to make you feel important and alive!
He is an artist of rare sensibility and his voice is soft, he never scream and his sense of humor is awsome!!!
Since he met Sonia. he has been writing several song with her and also by himself.
One of them, "YOU WILL SURVIVE" is dedicated to a friend, Kate, who survived cancer and wishes to be a hope for all of them are suffering and fighting such a terrible deal.
