In 1974, at the age of thirteen, David got his first guitar, an acoustic one. Some years later he bought an electric guitar and started playing blues and his own songs.
During the eighties David travels across Europe,
performing with the "Wild Way", an ensemble of
musicians who blended rock, country and blues with a
psychedelic flair. "Being itinerant street musicians
was a choice dictated by our necessity to be
constantly in motion. We thought the world too big and
interesting to let ourselves idle in a sleepy and
conformist city like Rome".
In 1989 David starts his new project, the "Argonauts",
writing long, hypnotic ballads with both electric and
acoustic atmospheres. After the short but creatively
rewarding experience with the Argonauts, David pauses
to ponder the new direction to take: "I am looking for
an extremely spare sound where the
guitar plays just a few chords, the piano adds
rarefied touches, the lyrics are unchaste and the
melodies sorrowful and memorable."
In the year 2000 he begins collaborating with Giacomo
Bondi, producer and keyboards player, recording some songs.
"...follow the inspiration of the moment which is
always impalpable and mysterious as it leads you to
unexpected places and marvel at where it guides you to".I edited my profile with Thomas' Myspace Editor V4.4
