About Me

i have no idea. you tell me. i feel lately like a moment. an unlikely convergence of streams. a duality presides. (i am neither of them.)
i am increasingly and painfully ecologically aware and this journey is currently challenging many of the assumptions i had previously stroked. i used to imagine an equitable, command-less, advanced, 'green' technological civilization in humanity's future.. even just a couple years ago i thought this.
and somehow, in an inexplicable journey with indeterminate waysides.. i have come to recognize dominant industrial culture as both impossible AND undesirable. it satisfies few and even those are satisfied in the most shallow of pursuits only.
been reading a great deal of derrick jensen. (speaking of the convergence of varied streams of thought.) the epiphany/page ratio of jensen's books beg a certain appropriate urgency. where do i get my priorities? who do they serve? what am i going to do about it?
i am not sure anymore if i live here. where i am. thinking alot about landbase lately and the complete lack of connection i have here with mine. so far, in many years, the land has been something i have 'visited' and even then only sparingly. interested generally in the pacific northwest.. or foreign lands. who knows. (no really, who the fuck knows? send me a note!)
i am determined to lend myself to a sustainable economy, to minimize my consumption and maximize my resistance. i haven't much certainty yet how i might go about this. have you already done this? tell me about it.
ok.
