About Me

I am snacking on almonds and doing highly important legal work before going out to get shit-faced. I'm a big multi-tasker. I am also totally out of shape but getting firmed and toned to do AIDS Walk. I mean, what kind of lame-o can't finish a walkathon? Let's not find out that it's me! Sponsor me!

I also co-host the ass-whupping comedy extravaganza SuperEgo Comedy - Comedy for EgoManiacs at the Parkside Lounge on alternate Thursdays. Visit the webpage to sign up and hang out with me and the superhot Dale Sorenson, and rule the stage for five glorious minutes at a time.My Top 8 is mysterious and sometimes random, sometimes not. Try and figure it out.
I love having people sleep on my sofa. I just bought new pillows. And I'm often up too late.

My Interests

Comedy, writing, swimming, rambling, singing to myself, practicing accents, practicing law, eyebrow maintenance, self-medicating, and ethnic cookery.

I'd like to meet:

Hot Republicans. The Kashi commercial lady. And the Belz.

Music:

Lyrical shit. Mostly music created before 1989. Or stuff that feels that way.
That being said, if you think it's good and I otherwise respect you, I'll give it a fair shake.

Movies:

80s teen flicks. Nearly anything by Scorsese, Tarantino or Mamet. Individual movies I can't live without (in no particular order): Thelma & Louise, High Fidelity, sex lies and videotape, Bull Durham, Caddyshack, An Officer & A Gentleman, and others that change from time to time depending on my fickleness.

Television:

Arrested Development, Curb, and all those hip, funny cancelled comedy/sketch shows. A couple of guilty reality-show-pleasures (Top Model, Project Runway, and anything with aging Real World Road Rules cast members). Homicide, the Wire, Oz, anything in which Dean Winters might have appeared. Thus, the entire Tom Fontana universe. And, of course, Rhoda. Duh.

Books:

science fiction, spy stuff, mystery, late 19th/early 20th century classics, quantum physics, catalogs, regional cookbooks, and Games magazine.

Heroes:

Julia Child, Howard Cosell, Albert Einstein, Phyllis Diller, Geraldine Ferraro, Lily Tomlin, Sandra Bernhart.
