Some priorities of Alaska Democrats include:
*A safer Alaska. You cannot be free and afraid. Alaskans should be safe in their homes and their communities. We are working to increase public safety and personal security in every community.
*A healthier Alaska. Alaskans deserve the peace of mind of knowing they and their families will receive health care when it is needed without going broke in the process. We are working to find ways to improve public health and health care and to reduce health care costs for Alaska businesses and citizens.
*An Alaska where every individual has a chance to succeed. Each Alaskan deserves a fair chance at success. Education is the foundation of better opportunities for all. We are working to ensure all Alaskans have the ability to acquire the knowledge and skills needed to succeed.
*A more prosperous Alaska. Alaskans deserve good jobs, jobs that let us support our families with dignity. At the same time, Alaska businesses deserve the chance to earn a fair return on their investments. We are working to develop diverse business and job opportunities for Alaskans, and to see that we get a fair share from developing our resources. In building strong communities and a strong workforce, we create a more prosperous future.
