I'm pretty into the political scene. As a matter of fact, politics pretty much consume my life. And I can't WAIT for the presidential election in 2008 because I'm pretty sure we'll have a Democrat in office again! thank god! (I'm pullin for barack!) My friends like to make fun of me for my love for politics, but the joke will be on them when I'm in Congress someday...I'm stuck in Alaska finishing up my degree at UAA... since it's free (UA scholar, woo.) I figure I have graduate school to rack up student loans. So after UAA, it's off to law school! and no that doesn't mean i want to be a lawyer.. i would just like to understand the law before i make the law. :) My fiance is in the army and is now deployed to Iraq to fight in "Operation Iraqi Freedom". Like all the soldiers in the middle-east, he is nobly serving his country. However, his country is not serving him in his best interests by sending him into the midsts of this unjust occupational war. The war's a touchy subject, but basically i hate it if you couldn't tell.I'm graduating in 2008 and then getting married. I love being in college but at the same time i wish it was over so i can really start my life. where we go from there who knows... probably where ever i end up to going to law school at. (most likely Seattle.. its grown on me) Life is good.

My Interests

"A working person who supports Republicans is like a chicken that supports Col. Sanders""We spend $8 billion per month in Iraq. That's $2 billion each week, $267 million each day, or $11 million each hour. What we spend in 3 weeks could make needed improvements in order to properly secure our public transportation systems. What we spend in 5 days could put radiation detectors in all of our ports. For 2 days in Iraq, we could screen all air cargo." -- Gov. '08 baby!Oh wait a second... I totally met Barack and Hillary! and every other Democrats who's in the '08 race so far.."It is completely out of bounds to suggest that anyone demanding accountability is siding with terrorists" - Gov. Howard Dean on Republicans acusing those who speak out against the Bush administration to be unpatriotic."The law can be an incredible vehicle for social change- and lawyers are at the wheel. By sheer strength of an argument you can right wrongs, protect society against abuse, and serve the public good... In the end the decision to apply and attend law school was for me an expression of this belief: the system can be changed from within." -- Senator Hillary Clinton
