The appeal of the predominantly english compositions of the composer and vocalist Sabine Müller lies in the versatility of her characters and emotions – in regard to content as well as to music. Sometimes they touch homorously, charming and subtly, sometimes sad, serious and reflecting. Inwardness, transmigration clothed in word and sound – in the unusual instrumentation with vocals, trombone and keys the SEIDE – Trio creates an intimate room for their own sound and true music which invites to intense listening. Some chosen Jazz-standards, which are presented in a modern, individual way, show the musical identity of the musicians from Nuremberg and Mannheim as well.„[...] and chooses subtly glistening lyrics, on which her expressive voice can chafe without withdrawing its claws too fast.
