I've been a raver since the early days and originally got into the hardcore
and techno sounds around 91-92. I used to memorise mc's from tapes (please
never play top buzz fantazia club tour to me, i will be chatting all the
lyrics lol)and i really used to buzz off the thought of chatting to all
those people. I first started mcing back in 94 when i met one of the quest
resident dj's mr dj nexus(big up dave). He used to come and play tunes down
the local cheese club and i one day just asked him if i could have a go on
the mic, unfortunately he said yes : ) and ever since then I've been hooked
on mcing.After holding down residency's around the local scene (big up UHT, Lifted,
Deckology) I met up with devize (big up 3 star) and the 3D Mode crew and
have been mcing for them on various radio shows (Koollive, District, Kinda
funky radio, Pyrotechnic) and various parties, also residencies for Timeless
(skitty's night),Stimulus/Underground City, HQ (manikulars night)Above and
Beyond (aries' night). I was very lucky to be able to mc at Renegade
Hardware twice (big up skit on that) and have just been doing various
parties around and outside of the midlands. My love for mcing is still as
strong if not more as it was when i started back in 94.

For me being an mc is not just about being able to rhyme bars but being able to interact with a crowd and exert personality
