To begin with I should say I love music in general but Drum n Bass is where its really at for me. I have been DJing Drum n Bass for about five years now around the West Midlands at nights such as DISKCONNECTED every month @ OC’s in Birmingham where I am now officially a resident, (CHECK OUT DISKCONNECTED PROMOTIONS BY CLICKING THE BANNER ON MY PAGE). Also at nights such as: Deckology, Delirious, Signal 2 Noise and Regeneration and picking up a residency at a night in Wolverhampton called "Playtime", and now a residency at a night near Stourbridge called "High Voltage" (shouts to High Voltage Crew - Dash, Booba D, Suffa, MC Slyda, Burns, Regan, Turps etc!!). WE HAVE RECENTLY FORMED HIGH VOLTAGE PROMOTIONS SO CHECK IT OUT FOR INFO ABOUT UP AND COMING H.V. NIGHTS + MORE in my friends.... We are working towards having a night every month so look out for that.. So far they have been HUGE successes!! We are also doing a drum n bass radio show every thursday between 8pm and 10pm GMT on WWW.RUFFRADIO.CO.UK so check it out if you get chance..
I’ve been producing Drum and Bass over the past year and a half now. One of my most recent tunes: DJ Laze - "Representin" has had support from the likes of DJ Dirty (DISKCONNECTED), Kut-D of Coologik Records and the HIGH VOLTAGE CREW amongst others. "Twisted Methods VIP" is a track that I produced with Mattix and Futile, with whom I produced my previous track: "The Magical Journey". My tracks have received support from aftershockradio.com, Ruff Radio and a few other stations including Youthcomm radio (bigups) getting played on there as well as DJ Rekless from Cyntax Error Records (respect), Diskconnected and High Voltage...
Over the past two years I have been hosting my own radio shows on Youthcomm radio in Worcester and I was a guest on one of DJ Dirty’s shows on Smooth FM. I also worked alongside DJ’s Dash and Booba D, and MC Slyda on WWW.RUFFRADIO.CO.UK every thursday 8 - 10 pm rinsin Drum n Bass for about 4 months.
Then Dash and myself formed Raw Theory, and you can now catch "The Raw Theory Show" every monday night on WWW.AFTERSHOCKRADIO.COM which is hosted by us. So far it has been another success. We include a competition/feature called "DUB OF THE WEEK" in our show where we choose and play an up n coming DJ’s dubplate, so if you are an up n coming Drum n Bass producer then get in touch and we’ll try and give your tracks some plays on there.
I have a 3 year old daughter called Ellie who’s a little nutta (and loves her drum n bass!!!).. Im jus startin to teach her the basics of DJin at the moment!!!
