About Me

Since i was young,I have always liked music!I used to listen to dance & hip hop.But when i was about 16 i heard a style of music called Drum & Bass,Almost instantly i knew i wanted to be a DJ and mix this particular genre of music.To begin with the beats were to fast for me,and it sounded like bombs going off.so i went and bought some garage,cuz this is slower and easier to mix.Once i got the basic principles of mixing with the slower garage beats,I then moved on to the faster and more harder drum & bass beats.These days i am always messing about on turntables learning new tricks and scratch techniques.I have played in lots of venues e.g The Vodka Bar,The Red Bar,The Mercia,The Institute,The West Indian Club,Kasbah, The Graduates and loads of private parties.I am also the founder of a D&B group called The Dubplate Assassins.Check us out at... Band Members: This is my music myspace,I have got other pages too.I am a member of a group called,The Dubplate Assassins.The group has many of members,But myself DJ Flame/The dark assassin am the founder of the group,alongside DJ Scott E/The reggae dub specialist. We are the heart and soul of the operation.

Sounds Like: As alot of people do in the music industry,I try to be different as a DJ.I like to go out to different nights and listen to the other DJ's individual styles,and the kind of tunes they play.Then i try and make my own styles & techniques. I like to go by the crowd and their reactions,If they look happy and like their enjoying themselves,then so too will i be & vice verse.I like to play anything with solid drum beats & basslines.AFTERSHOCK RADIO
