Crime Stoppers Needs Your Help...Suspect Sought in Beach AssaultView CompositeEmerald Coast Crime Stoppers will pay a cash reward to an anonymous caller who helps the Okaloosa County Sheriff's Office in an on-going investigation on the assault of a woman, which occurred on Thursday, July 15,2004, on the gulf side of Highway 98 on Okaloosa Island. The assault occurred around 6:00 p.m. The woman was walking along the water approximately 1 mile west of the NCO Beach Club when she was attacked. The male is described as between 22-27 years of age with coarse, short, black hair. The male's hair was bushy and had no part. He is approximately 5'06"-5'08", between 140-150 lbs. and was wearing a white t-shirt and tan pants, which were stained in areas. He had dark skin and is believed to possibly be of Hispanic origin although he spoke fluent English. A composite of the suspect is now complete and can be viewed at www.emeradcoastcrimestoppers.com.
