Here are some links to some bands and artists I either know personally, are really good locally (North Cal & some South), or are just noteworthy for their own merit, style, je-ne-se-quoi, or their association with me and my wonderful promoting tastes:
.^I gotta rep the locals!...as for what I enjoy, not gangsta rap and not repetitive, boring trance music. Everything else...I mean it (I've even taken a shine to some country - you should try it, even if just for a culture shock!).

Movies:

Whatever makes me laugh, cry, think, or act. I don't like to see many movies more than once, so the ones that I DO want to see more than once -- those are the keepers

Television:

Television stole my childhood. I'm not giving it anymore of my precious time on this planet...unless there are actually music videos on cable, but we all know that will never again happen.

Books:
