E.B.A Promotions is an ever expanding project committed to bringing the best music in Manchester to as many venues as possible. Still less than 1 year old, E.B.A have established sucesful regular nights at The Attic, The Thirsty Scholar and The Whitworth, showcasing hundreds of the best bands and acoustic acts in Manchester. In 2008 we have already added new weekly band nights at Saki and Jabez Clegg and a monthly acoustic night at Fuel; we now put on around 75 acts every month.

The THISRSTY SCHOLAR on Oxford Rd. (under the railway bridge)http://www.thirstyscholar.co.uk/. Every Wednesday the Scholar hosts SHAMBLES, a night of local bands in a great little venue thats great value and has a fine selection if international beers. Shambles is rough and ready, 8 till late and completely free. A great night for unsigned manchester bands and acoustic acts.
The ATTIC (also on Oxford Rd. above the Thirsty Scholar) is a great venue for live music with a newly installed PA for bigger bands and louder shows. Built like an air-raid shelter and all black this room hosts our monthly night of curiosities WUNDERKAMMER. This is a new and special monthly taking place on a Wednesday and promises a unique selection of music. Entry fee varies, discounts and drinks promotions available.
The WHITWORTH is a Rusholme pub right on the edge of Whitworth Park (down Oxford Rd.) and nest to the Saki Bar. It hosts LIVE LOUNGE our weekly jumping Saturday night. Some of our best gigs have been here and it's often the host of our parties and Burlesque shows. Cosy and welcoming, the Whitworth has good ales at fine prices, with a large veranda for smoking and the occasional barbeque. Here we present 3 or 4 local bands every Saturday for FREE.
The SAKI bar now hosts SIDEWAYS SISTER in conjunction with Adam P. Gorman and The Travelling Band every Friday night 8 till late. Located next to the Whitworth on Wilmslow Rd.
presenting a fine array of folk rock, acoustic, indie and blues for £3, Sideways Sister promises to be a memorable night.
FUEL in the heart of Withington is an unmissable little alternative venue. Small an perfectly formed its upstairs room hosts PIN DROP, an intimate evening of soley acoustic acts. The name says it all as the hushed atmosphere provides a private and personal experience of each carefuly chosen act. Pindrop costs £2-3 and is held every last Tuesday.
