About Me

UP AND COMING GIGS
HERE IS AN ALBUM REVIEW FROM SANDMAN MAGAZINE
“…reinvigorates the ‘quiet loud’ rock dynamic in a way you’ve never heard it before..” – Manchester Evening News
“It seems that the children of Radiohead are finally beginning to stir” – Gigwise.com
“Our Cold War EP' is guitar nourishment that won't leave you feeling like Keane in the morning” - boomkat.com
"truely captivating" - Manchester Music
"Songs which have a habit of bursting into flames at regular intervals"- The indie Credential
Light Syndicate are one of the most musically creative young bands to emerge from Manchester in a long time. Choosing to be outside of any current scene or trend, Light Syndicate stand out from the crowd.
Coming from an indie background Light Syndicate have spent two years locked away in an old mill somewhere in Manchester progressing and moulding their music to create a genre defying sound. An impressive culmination of contrasting dynamics, intrepid rhythms and prolific melodies are the trademarks of Light Syndicate; completing their ever-shifting wall of sound is growling sub bass and soaring violins that cannot be ignored live or on record.
Light Syndicate released their 'Our Cold War' EP in July 2006. Full album 'Last in Line' is to be released on new label Pushbike Records with worldwide distribution from Baked Goods in early 2008.
Light Syndicate are an act who have their own unique sound and their musicality and inspirational live performances separate them from other bands, they have been associated with bands like Radiohead, Muse and Mogwai.
