About Me

We're a bunch or record collecting obsessives (is there any other kind). So after much nattering and a few pints we decided to pool our collections and get together every other month and play each other some tunes. Sometimes members of the public turn up and have a shimmy too. We're one in March and our first year has seen us promote live bands varying in different styles, we've had mod-punk, disco-indy and noise terror. The future brings blues, gypsy tango's and krautrock disco. I keep pushing for a barn dance but the other boys reckon I'm on my own there. So, yeah, we don't chain ourselves to one genre and our nights generally cover soul, blues, ska, dub, disco, punk, glam, funk, post punk, rock 'n' roll, disco, 80's synth pop, hip hop, jazz, country fusions of the above and then some. We believe that most people listen to all sorts of music.
