There is power in being real, being true...It takes fearlessless. You can't market fearlessness. And those that approach their music with fearlessless, passion and a desire so intense it feels like a train is passing through you when you hear them, they carry that power.
Those that have it, honor and respect the integrity that came before them. Those men and women who refused to let their music be boxed in by anyone, who produced their own records, touched on taboo subjects, spoke of life in the truth of pain, love, sexuality, and pure joy. And honed their craft until they were legends: Waylon, Willie, Cash, Hanks, Kristofferson, Shaver, Steve Earle, Jessi Colter, Loretta Lynn, Haggard, Jones--they were all the birth of this musical spirit in country music and in rock and roll.
We don't place limits on genre, as this extends beyond any boundaries of labels of country, rock, folk. It's just good music, pure and simple.

Douglas Corner has become host to the hottest gig in Music City, as Brigitte London's monthly SPIRIT OF THE OUTLAWS: All-Star Showdown, prepares for its' NOVEMBER installment on THURSDAY, Nov.1st!!! Today's top Independent country acts, joining forces with legendary musicians, blend together to honor the authentic musical spirit of legends such as Waylon, Cash, Shaver, Kristofferson, Willie, the HANKS, etc. and incorporate their own originals into the show. The show also will feature Major Label acts that share the same musical ideals. A pure celebration of music.
Adding to the magic of the showcase will be an A-list back up ensemble that includes many original members of Waylon Jennings' band including RICHIE ALBRIGHT, FRED NEWELL, JERRY BRIDGES and Bakersfield guitar guru EUGENE MOLES.
Perpetually and infectiously vivacious, London is a modern day maverick committed to supporting authentic, heart and soul driven independent artists and their music, a true testament in and of itself to the original roots of the outlaw movement. London recently relocated to Nashville from Austin, Texas and has stirred up things in Music City with her music and determination. She will feature a Texas artist at some of the shows, working to bring the magic of Austin to the streets of Nashville. Bringing in up-and comers to share the stage with legendary musicians is quite a combination.
