Sinoath was born in 1990 by Fichera Salvatore (drums), Roberto Messina (guitar), Nicola De Carne (guitar), Fabio Li Pera (bass).
After couple of month Nicola De Carne left the band, so they start to looking for a new guitarist but without luck, so at the end of the summer 1990 Adrian C. (keyboard) became the new member of the band.
In this way Sinoath start to experiment new sounds death black in a time where the bands with a keyboard wasn’t a lot.
Between December 1990 and January 1991 have been produced the Sinoath first work “Forged In Blood“, 3 tracks demo tape. This demo tape makes a lot of success in the whole underground world, an original and macabre sound. The jobs get a lot of consens from media all over the world, labels, and bands like Marduk, Satyricon, Impaled Nazarene, Excidium and much more.
In the summer 1991 they make their first live performance with a very good success. After the first live , the drummer Fichera Salvatore left the band, so Dario Casabona (actually in the Schizo) becames the new drummer. At the same time the bass player Fabio Li Pera have been sostituited, and new guitarist Seby Minniti and new singer Andrea Zanetti are parts of the band.
With this new line-up Sinoath record the new demo tape called “Sinoath†in the 1993. This work have been repressed on mcd format in the 1995 with the name “Still In The Grey Dying“ produced by Nosferatu Records and distribuited all over the world with a good success.
Once again, after this work, the line –up changed completely; Luca Correnti (guitar), Enrico Sorbello (Bass), Andrea Tilenni (drums), Roberto Messina (guitar) and Adrian C. (keyboard) is the new line–up. With this line–up and with a new style vision they released for the Polyphemus Record their new album “Research†at the end of 1995.
A very good album that distribuited more than 3.000 copy in each eart’s corner.
Unlucky this new album didin’t show completely the past of Sinoath’s sound, is coldly accepted, also even if was a good album the Sinoath suffering the missing of a good resonance on the media, so they broke up definitely the band.
Until 2003 year Fichera Salvatore (the first old drummer) restart by his own the project, decided to reborn the old sound and the Sinoath name, and after a couple of tryng do in the way that Dovorcon (bass player/lead Vocals), S. Addams (guitar) becames to the part of the band.
After six months of hard work was pubblyshed by internet theyr new five tracks demo tape, really rude sound, just to show the Sinoath new (old) way. Today after almost 3 years of jobs are read nine new tracks, almost 55 minutes of new music, even thanks to help in studio of a session keyboard player and a solo guitar player, was born “Under The Ashes†55 minutes of cold macabre doom black metal, who had the possibility to listen in advance the new songs, say that the target to getting better the "Forged In Blood" periods was completely scored.
Finally, on December 2007, "Under The Ashes" album is out.
