She began her career at Associated Press (Kent & Sussex Courier) as a journalist, also writing copy and designing layout for the publication's advertising pages.
In l986, as a freelance journalist, she wrote for 'SMASH HITS', 'RECORD MIRROR' and 'FSM MONTHLY', as well as copywriting for advertising agencies.
In l987, she worked for the Phillip Hall Press Agency in London, 'Hall Or Nothing' and designed, wrote and edited international band THE POGUES' fanzine, 'Ordnahone'.
In l988, she moved to Dublin, Ireland and formed a band, 'The Frantic', performing her own songs at such venues as 'The Baggot Inn', 'The Rock Garden' and 'The Olympia Theatre'. She supported Hazel O'Connor on an Irish nationwide tour and has supported Mary Coughlan at the'Mean Fiddler' in London.
In l992, her video, 'Chariot', was shown on MTV on Christmas morning.
From l992-1994, she travelled as Van Morrison's personal assistant in the USA and Europe.
In l995, Siobhan worked for local government at the Arts Office in Tipperary NR, Ireland.
In l997, Siobhan recorded her debut album, 'Chariot', which was released by Murgatroid Records in l998. The album received critical acclaim and was the HOT PRESS critics' choice.
Since 2000, Siobhan has written for the IRISH TIMES, the SUNDAY TIMES, the IRISH MIRROR and MIZZ magazine. She has appeared in Patrick Bergin's 'Countess Kathleen' (film) and has designed a range of artwork under the name of Cat MacZebedee
Her first novel (for children) -'Etain's Dream' is currently being serialised in The Nenagh Guardian (first installment December 1st 2007)
