With numerous singles due for release over the coming months the band will travel their native country and also the Uk and the USA performimg some of these new tracks. Already the first single 'One of two Ways' has received alot of attention and widespread airplay. Keep your eyes peeled for their new videos for all of these new download only singles. next up is the release of 'Manmade' (on July 10th) the opening track on their sophomore album. More details will be added over the next few weeks. The launch for the new album will be held at The Sugar club
on August 10th with a special live performance by the band.
The Radio are guitarist Stephen M, formerly of one of Irelands much loved indie bands Rollerskate Skinny with guitarist/producer liam mulvaney
featuring vocalists C. Lee Baker and Sue Rose. The live band includes Florida Dave on bass, Hugo Byrne on drums and. and pablo the laptop.
The Radio released their debut album 'Kindness' on Reekus Records in August 2004 to huge critical acclaim. Since 2004 the band have appeared at various festivals around the world including CMJ (New York) Midem (France) eurosonic (Holland) and In The City (UK). Following sucessful shows in both London and Dublin the band have been featured on BBC radio 1 shows hosted by the musical maverick 'Alan McGee' (Creation/Poptones).
With the single 'Whatever gets You through Today' taken from their album finding its way on to the radio air waves in both Ireland and the UK aswell as the song featuring in hit USA tv series 'Grays anatomy' and new movie 'Imagine me and You' alongside
