About Me

Myspace Layouts + Myspace GraphicsCollecting records since I was 11, First got involved with music proper in 1989 when I moved to London to attend early warehouse parties, started loafing around record stores and got hooked up with the emerging baleric beat movement through the flying records mob, made London DJ debut shortly after (aged 21) alongside Andrew Weatherall who was just about to unleash Loaded by The Scream upon us and was totally on fire after his mix of the My bloody Valentine song broke all the rules and our hearts, Andrew's debut Irish DJ show was at the legendary Beat Club run by myself and friends.Recognised as Irelands leading DJ/promoter thoughout the nineties with many awards and accolades awarded both nationally and internationally, I-D, The Face, Melody Maker, URB (USA), Time out (NYC and London). Remixed U2 (twice), David Holmes, Bell X1, Consolidated and Millenia Nova, U2 used our mix of Elevation as their walk on song for the Elevation world tour. Personally chosen as tour DJ for The Chemical Brothers European tour and Death in Vegas UK tour and have played and held residencies in some of the worlds best clubs including Twilo (NYC), Centro Fly (NYC), Groovejet (Miami), Art College (Belfast), Shine (Belfast), Bugged out (Manchester) The End and Heavenly social (London)In 2004 compiled a twenty-minute piece of music to accompany the annual firework display viewed by a worldwide audience of over a million for the annual St.Patricks Day festival, the second time to get this accolade.Current projects include co-management of Dublin band Mainline and Arveene.Currently talent manager for the Bud Rising music series in Ireland, we have so far put on over 150 shows all over the country bringing in acts like Beck, The Magic Numbers, The Zutons, The Raconteurs, CSS, Maximo park, Primal Scream, We are scientists, The Chemical bros, Sonic youth, The Spinto band, Tom Vek, Kings of Leon, Groove Armada, Franz Ferdinand and many more, while the festival brings in jaw dropping international talent and uber cool breaking acts, we still give loads of support to local acts and DJs and will continue to do so forever!!!Home | Browse | Search | Invite | Film | Mail | Blog | Favorites | Forum | Groups | Events | Videos | Music | Comedy | Classifieds
