About Me

I am truly blessed to be from one of the most musical families that I know. My brother Andy is an amazing musician and is one of the best drummers that I have played with or heard. My father is an amazing bass player coming from a generation that valued music and musical comradery much more than today's younger musicians. There is great value in that and it has rubbed off on me. My cousin Dak Alley is a songwriter in Nashville TN. that has one of the most amazing songwriting gifts that I have heard and a great voice as well. My family was inducted into the country music hall of fame in South Dakota and for that I am truly greatful.--------------------------------------------------- ---------------------------------------------- I have done mounds of session work, and have a great amount of live performance experience. I have played in well over 15 bands in 12 years. I have often played with more than one band at a time but those days are pretty much over.

My Interests

Music:

Band Members: I have played bass and guitar for over 12 years in the Twin Cities music scene. I started playing at age 16 at regular clubs on regular nights and have been blessed with a ton of great experiences. I have had the good fortune to play at great shows for great causes like Heart & Soul and many other benefits. I like those shows the best because it's not all about bands I'm with and me; it is for something larger.
Influences: Wow, where to start? The local musicians here in Minneapolis are some of the best in the world and I have to give due respect to a lot of them who influenced or inspired me whether they know it or not! Leighton, Corey White, Chad Whitaker, Dave Deginarro, Daisey Head Mazy, Jason Liles, The Combo, Screaming Mechanical Brain, Tim Mahoney, Mike Krenner of Iced Inc., Iced Inc, ............................................................ ..........................................Some non local cats are Living Colour, Pearl Jam, Miles Davis, Faith No More, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Paul Chambers, Dennis Chambers, Charlie Parker, Dizz, Doug Wimbish, Les Claypool, SoundGarden, Temple of the Dog, Alice in Chains, The Brothers Johnson, Bela Fleck and the Flecktones, Mark O'Connor and the New Nashville Cats, Brad Paisley, Chet Atkins, Tommy Immanuel, Brent Mason, Derek Trucks, Victor Wooten and so many more musicians that are just phenoms.....................................................
