Erick Ballard

Drummer Erick Ballard, a lover of music and a professional drummer, some say that he was born with drumsticks in his hands. Born August 31, 1983 in the land of St. Paul, MN Erick developed the passion for drumming at the age of 4. Over the years Erick built a reputation as an outstanding drummer in the Minneapolis/ St. Paul area and has played for various artists , events , and venues through out the Midwest.
Since 2008 Erick has been the driving force behind national blues giant Bernard Allison as he continuously tours USA, Europe, & other various countries. Other notable artist/bands that Erick has worked with are G.B. Leighton, Catch Penny, Standard Thompson, The R Factor, Boogie Wonderland, The New Congress, and Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church Choir. In 2007 Erick made his first theatrical debut where he was the drummer for Jevetta Steel’s “Two Queen, One Castle” and is the current drummer for Penumbra’s Christmas play “ The Black Nativity”.
Erick is constantly & consistently pushing the limits to always be a musical chameleon and to raise the bar of thinking and approaching all musical genres in a fresh new way. Over the past few years Erick has had the opportunity to share his gift with people all over the world and will continue to nourish on the musical gift he has been blessed with.
