Originating in St. Louis, Missouri, Rough Grooves creates high energy blues covering the blues greats and performing original compositions. From intimate clubs to large festivals, these musicians have been captivating audiences throughout the U.S. and Europe for over twenty years.
Members of the band have performed and recorded with the legendary Johnnie Johnson, Juno Award winners Kenny "Blues Boss" Wayne and Jim Byrnes and with Bennie Smith, and have opened for Albert King, Robert Cray, Joe Louis Walker, Chuck Berry, Bo Didley, Koko Taylor and many others. They have played at blues festivals in Holland, Germany, Norway and Hungary along with the Poconos Blues Festival, Mississippi Valley Blues Festival and the Big Muddy Blues Festival.
