The Blue Monsters

About Me

The Blue Monsters consists of songwriting team Paul Bourgeois and Eric Schwandt. Eric Schwandt, the "Truly Magnificent" guitarist from Chitown, David Andrew's and Paul Bourgeois first got together. David is this incredible guitar player but he also plays kicking drums. "David is my musical rock in that he showed me the keys." Paul Bourgeois says. But David had his own solo work. Eric and Paul found they worked together excellently as a creative team. So Eric and Paul, as the songwriters, are The Blue Monsters with just guitar, harmonica and voice. They find themselves moving into strange and wonderful places now. Paul Bourgeois says, "It is a magical thing when a musician finds his instrument and the moment stays and grows. This is what happened and we haven't gone back... Time is only an illusion to the mind as the past embeds itself in us. It all has to go out there. If we are artists then that is why we exist." And, as of August 22nd 2007 Paul Bourgeois adds, "Forget the freakin' philosophy. Eric is a damn straight righteous guitarist! This Band is happening!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

Peace and Love to All (a trick of the music)

You know I have sympathy for the gentle and wounded soul.  I envy someone who can maintain their love and hope amidst the slings and arrows of outrageous fortune.  Sure, they take up arms.&...

This little bit here is because I want to define what "difference" means.  Most people do not perceive that they react negatively to "subtle difference" at all, but for the person who is subtly d...
