I'm most passionate about music! Listening, playing, and feeling music, seeing live performances, attending music festivals, listening to records, playing piano, listening to my husband play his bass, guitar, and spin records. The Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park in Live Oak FL is one of my favorite places. Wanee Fest, Springfest, Magnolia Fest...camping with friends - so many wonderful memories have been made there. I love children, and I have been caring for them most of my life...babysitting, daycare, nannying, etc. I also enjoy kundalini, hatha and ashtonga yoga, qi-gong, meditation, reading, playing tennis, traveling, cooking, Guinness, red wine, bloody marys. Will's Pub, clean sheets, hot showers, soft feelies and smell pretties! I love the beach, Mother Nature and her wonders...
people with open minds and hearts who are living their truths and sharing their gifts. Also, Richard D. James (Aphex Twin)
I fell in love with music at a very early age, listening to my Mom's classical at home, seeing symphonies and philharmonics, learning to play piano, and eventually buying my first records - Barry Manilow (ha ha), Olivia Newton John's Xanadu, Grease, Devo, Queen to name a few. I switched to cassettes and cds, as the technology evolved, but I love the sound a record! I ended up getting into the Grateful Dead and Phish, so I collected bootleg performances for a few years, while squeezing in occaisional concerts and music festivals. I feel so blessed to have seen so many great shows! I love the live music experience with improvisation and jams, drum and bass, beats, bass and grooves, mostly! I'm married to a musician who brings me endless joy and musical diversity. His bands include: Shak Nasti, Florganism, KOW! Umoja, Terri Binion and the Bible Belt Orphans to name a few. Other local favorites include The Legendary JC's, Junkie Rush, One Drop, Gargamel, Bughead, Solilliquists of Sound!, David Schweizer, Sam Rivers. Some of my major musical influences include The Beatles, Pink Floyd, Led Zepplin, Jimi Hendrix, The Doors, Janes Addiction, Nine Inch Nails, The Police, Radiohead, Coldplay, Beck, The Beastie Boys, Tribe Called Quest, The Roots, Fela Kuti, Bob Marley, James Brown, Miles Davis, John Coltrane, P-Funk, to name a few. I've attended music festivals regularly for the past 14 years! Starting out with Lalapalooza, The Alachua Music Harvest, Coachella, Magnolia Fest, Spring Fest, Wannee Fest, etc... I've seen so many great shows, including many Grateful Dead and Phish concerts. Some of my favorite live shows include, Medeski Martin and Wood, Steely Dan, The Wailers, Prince, Oteil and the Peacemakers, Derek Trucks Band, Allman Brothers Band, North Mississippi Allstars, Robert Randolph and the Family Band, James Brown, The Roots, Buddy Miles, BB King, SQUAREPUSHER!!! Electronic favorites include: Goldfish (Rainbow Bridge) Aphex Twin, Squarepusher, Luke Vibert, Kid Koala, Mr. Scruff, Form (Angry Skinny), Seth, Karpetfresh, Dustbustah, and my sister in law, Emily. My most recent favorite live bands include Oteil and the Peacemakers, Derek Trucks Band, and the Flaming Lips! target="_blank" a href="http://www.msplinks.com/MDFodHRwOi8vcGhvdG9idWNrZXQuY2 9t" target="_blank"
I most recently saw Halloween, well done, but super gorey! Also saw Superbad which was funny. The Fountain, Amelie, Classics like: The Wizard of Oz, Grease, The Exorcist, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory...The Shawshank Redemption, Braveheart, Forest Gump, A Beautiful Mind, Walk the Line were really touching. Garden State, I Heart Huckabees, What the Bleep do we know?, The Notebook - what a great love story. Friday is really funny, Old School, Almost Famous, Pulp Fiction, Napolean Dynomite, School of Rock, Pink Floyd: Live at Pompei. I recently saw Tenacious D's new film The Pick of Destiny - HILARIOUS!
Definately a guilty pleasure...although my DVR makes is feel a little less toxic. I like shows about cooking and travel, CSI (Las Vegas), Grey's Anatomy, Days of Our Lives (ha ha, I can't help it, I've been watching it forver!), Top Chef, Hell's Kitchen, The Simpsons and South Park are really funny but I don't tune in that often. I also like Bravo's reality shows like Work Out, Project Runway, Welcome to the Parker, Flipping Out - they are a glimpse into various lives and professions, like a mini-series...condensed and short lived.

My husband inspires me in countless ways. He is incredibly intuitive, wise, honest, loyal and true. He's an extremely good judge of character. Matt's musical talent is undeniably impressive. Thanks for keeping it real honey, I love you!
