Spiga Gialla Reggae

Gli SPIGA GIALLA REGGAE, dopo un periodo di attività di quasi due anni, sono risorti dalle ceneri agli inizi del 2007, grazie ad un cambio quasi totale di formazione. L’amore profondo per il reggae fece si che Tino (voce / chitarra) ,unico superstite della vecchia formazione, Salva (tastiere / voce) Salentino d’origini, e RastaManu (batteria), adepto del one drop, si ritrovassero a Canaletto Town col desiderio di provare a suonare dub. Un’annuncio sul web, fece si che Francè (basso) entrasse nella formazione portando negli Spiga il suono profondo del suo strumento e tanti consigli sull’arrangiamento dei pezzi! Poco dopo fece il suo ingresso nella band Cava (percussioni), e fu meraviglioso vedere la sua strumentazione crescere col suo talento! Dopo tanti consigli buoni, incoraggiamenti e persone con le quali abbiamo percorso per breve tempo la via musicale assieme (Thanks & Bless to Max & Sister Adri!) gli Spiga trovarono una propria fisionomia e un proprio equilibrio che venne completato dall’ ingresso di Patro (seconda voce e si spera presto chitarra ritmica!) Il concerto per la Pace di San Pietro in Casale fu l’occasione per preparare in breve tempo un tributo al re del reggae, il grande Bob Marley. Questo concerto di debutto diede alla luce il primo live degli Spiga Gialla, per ora unico biglietto da visita del gruppo. Poco dopo arrivarono nuovi pezzi propri, con il desiderio sempre più grande di diffondere la musica reggae, le buone vibrazioni e il messaggio di pace che essa porta, senza dimenticare il lato militante e di protesta, in una società sempre più tesa all’interesse economico e a causa di questo sempre più simile ad una corsa di topi…
SPIGA GIALLA REGGAE (Yellow Reggae Spikes) , after a period of activity of almost two years, they are risen from the ashes to the beginnings of 2007, thanks to an almost total change of formation. Shortly after made his entry in the band CAVA (percussions), and was marvelous to see his instrumentation grow with his talent! After so many good suggestions, encouragements and people with which we have crossed together for brief time the musical street (Thanks & Bless to Max & Sister Adri!) it Spiga Gialla band found an own physiognomy and a proper equilibrium that was completed by entry of PATRO (second voice and for rhythmic guitar is hoped! soon) The concert for the Peace of St. Pietro in the Casale (Bo) (on July the 6), was the occasion to prepare shortly time a tribute to the king of the reggae, the great Bob Marley. This concert of debut gave the first live of the Spikes, actually the only visit ticket of the group. Shortly after new proper pieces arrived, with the great desire to spread reggae music, good vibrations and the message of peace that reggae brings, without forgetting the militant and protest side, in a society more and more brim to the economic interest and because of this more and more similar to a rat race…
