extremely different musicians linked by an original and various sound for one Ska ensemble. Born in summer 2002 during RockaFe [www.rockafe.it] in Ferrara: the best become, with great audience success, versus 50 other bands, the C.o.ska win the best group premium. Some gigs after, opening Bad Manners, I Quattrocentocolpi and Cookoomackstick, the band conquered every ska lover’s mind. Co.ska show is caracterized by some original hit, some classical cover (from Scofflaws or Madness) and some special re-arranged italian hit like 4/3/1943 by L.Dalla or Vado al Massimo by Vasco Rossi. Ska is trait-d’union between the various Co.ska musician’s style, so that it’s easy to recognize funky, rock or latin influences in Co.ska sound: it’s the hyper bass by Pippo, the storming guitar by Fillo, the rounding sneare by Tommy, the shaking percussion by Miguel, from the flying melodies by Taxy, Pupillus & Macho (Sax, T-Bone, Trumphet) ending to the Hammond vibe by Henry, all enriched by an original natural-born frontman like Friz. In 2003 they record at NHQ studio of Ferrara their first records on BZ Records(distr. VENUS) named Gambero Killer,and the hit "Carmelo El Desperado" is included in the lucky compilation "Skapunka Vol.2 " (Nun Entertainment--dec. 2003). The new album and the new single of the Band is comin out soon ..date of release mid of april 2006..stay tuned...
