Ric Roberts (dubbed the Rockstar With No Guitar) Is what you would call a forward thinker in Techno, not concearned about the politics or fashion statements its making. While staying true to the original blueprint of this culture, not reverting to the laptop or CDj phenomenon has landed him respect well deserved. While still pushing the envelope in the E.D.M. community.
Ric got his start in the warehouse district of Denver, Co. in 1995, setting up lights and sound for Denvers early Raves. Soon to follow was a gig at Bo Basic's "Fab friday Basic Funktions", and a resident DJ for the Roofless Family. Playing and being a part of throwing some of Colorado's most infamouse raves such as: Babylon, Skylab, The Sun Festivals, Lusts, Unity, The Planet parties and Rave on the Rocks, just to name a few.
With his networking skills matching his passion, it's not odd to hear the phrase, "Ric gets around". After being noticed by Frankie Bones and CircuitBreaker, he was proudly signed to thier record label: Hard to Swallow Records and Filmworks (HTS) last year, and since has spawned a sub label no-coast division called FBC - FeedBack Communications Records with his partner in crime Sean O'Neal.
While his record release is way over due, he currently working on Projects with Dj Hectic, Decibel Flekx, Jimmy Swift, Computer Controlled and L.L. Bishop. Not to mention the CD series soon out on FBC, with Frankie Bones. His relentless dedication to not just entertain, but to educate the massives, With this Dirty analog sound. Has made him one of the states Techno heavy hitters.
From drum machines to rackmounts and being the Acid junkie that he is, Roland became a life choice not just a lifestyle. His passion for that thick full gritty sound is unsurpassed. The Band Members
