.::..THE DEFINITION..::..
Decibel (dB).:- A logarithmic measure of sound intensity. It is equal to 10 times the common logarithm of the ratio of sound intensity to a reference intensity. A rating of 85 dB is loud, and prolonged exposure to those sound levels could damage hearing. One decibel is the amount by which the pressure of a pure sine wave of sound must be varied in order for the change to be detected by the average human ear. The decibel can express an actual level only when comparing with some definate reference level that is assumed to be zero dB.:.::
Flekx(Flex):.- A measure of how much a certain part will bend under varying degrees of pressure or force. Every part will bend or flex, some more than others.::.::

Summer 2007 was one of the hottest seasons for Decibel Flekx. Having traveled across the country to California and back, to headlining his first events on the East Coast in New York and Atlanta Georgia. He has also broke new ground by receiving acclamation from the well known Techno label Audio Textures based in the United Kingdom. Simply put, he is now sparking the interest of record labels around the globe by means of his production skills alone.
Now in 2008, he has successfully launched his own label, ASSIMILATION RECORDINGS and has recruited veteran Hard To Swallow Records label mate, DJ Hectic to complete the assimilation. The highly anticipated first release on Assimilation Recordings titled
Machine Control Vol. 1 is now available at all of your favorite digital download outlets including

In 1993 Decibel Flekx had gotten his first opportunity to DJ at an all night Electronic Dance Music event. Before that had occured he was gaining knowledge of the culture at the legendary NASA parties in NYC. As the time went on Decibel Flekx had made the move from the shadows of the crowd to the man hehind the turntables controlling the bodies in the crowd. It was after his first nerve racking experience in front of a crowd of 300 dancing lunatics that Decibel Flekx knew this was his calling.....:..:
Since Decibel Flekx's inception, he has earned the privilage to DJ at major clubs in NYC such as, the Tunnel, Sound Factory(Now Pacha), and a main floor performance@ the Legendary Limelight(Now Avalon). Decibel Flekx has travelled the East Coast extensively, spreading the sounds of Techno one State at a time. As the years went buy he found himself becoming increasingly interested in wanting to finding out more about the technology used to create the music that he became entrenched in. By the time that was accomplished Decibel Flekx was ready to take it to the next level. Approximately 4 years after learning how to create sound, you are now getting to hear what has become of himself in the producing end of Techno Music right here. Decibel Flekx remains focused on his DJ career and Producing good Techno Music that will be sure to please for years to come. You won't see Decibel Flekx in it for the fame, or fortune. He knows as well as you that we all hope to be able to live off the things we love. They key word is love, and that is why he does it. At present time, Decibel Flekx is still pushing the limits of Techno music to the best of his ability while educating anyone who wants to know. Decibel Flekx is the Founder of Side By Side Foundation and a part of the prestigeous East Music Group Roster. Side By Side Foundation focuses on spreading the knowledge of Techno Music relentlessly. SSF always takes pride in being a stong pillar for the industry to lean on when needed... Unity and Preservation is the goal! Their events have consisted of Powerhouse DJ's/Producers that have had a MAJOR effect in the Techno Community and our culture. Acts such as Glenn Wilson(1st time ever in the USA), Frankie Bones, Adam X, Heather Heart, Christian Wunch(1st time in USA), Tim Xavier. Those are just to name a few of who Decibel Flekx has had the pleasure of working with. The bridges he has built took years to form, quality in his work, and never rushing. The support beams are constucted of some of the finest materials available. The stability, longevity, and overall structure of the beams have created a platform for people to connect from city to city, with respect to thier foundation.::.:...
