About Me
Tony Markham is a DJ with a love for the vinyl movement and a respect for electronic music that comes through in his mixing as well as his performance. That love and respect for the vibe has gained him a reputation as a DJ that knows how to move a dance floor.
Tony started as a promoter in the early 90’s with underground Punk and Rock events and shortly after, moved on to promote electronic music events. In 1995, he was inspired to start playing records after watching the DJs that would come and headline for his events. He started playing American and UK Jungle/Drum and Bass and soon became inspired by the Techno and House artists of New York, Detroit, and Chicago.
Tony traveled out, playing parties as well as clubs all over the U.S. He became known for his formula for mixing Funky Acidic Tech-House. In 2003 he wanted to learn to produce the sounds he was mixing and started studying music theory and production techniques from analog to digital and everything from Techno to Jungle.
Recently, Tony has been working with Feedback Communications as a DJ/Producer where he has been working on future Techno releases. Tony also has been working with DJ Starscream (0 of the band Slipknot) and DJSKdaJunglist on Ragga Jungle releases on N20/Freeburning Records.
