Ive always had a love for music but it wasnt until I relocated to S Florida in 1990, sometime during the early years of teenage delinquency, that I decided I wanted to Dj. The only problem with this was at that time djs where'nt a dime a dozen and getting your hands on a pair 1200s required a small investment, so what next? Graffiti!! In 92 with the friends I had met we started the crew UBC and for the next several years it was all about gettin up. It was around the time I turned eighteen that a friend brought over some mix tapes, I knew about industrial and electro but this was something different and right away I was hooked. I went to my first party in 1992 and something about the whole experience, the dirty warehouse, banging sound system, hundreds of people, it was underground culture at its finest and it just clicked for me. A year later I ended up back in CO. This finally gave me a chance to get a set of 1200s and it was on. In 94 I finally got it together and began playing house and techno. In 96 everything changed I went to "Gennerator" in Columbus Ohio to see Dave Clarke and that was it. If it wasnt from Detroit or pure techno I wouldnt play it. Alot has changed since those days, the music however is still here and thats all that maters. Ive been working on music production for several years now, its been a bumpy road but things are finally coming together so keep your ears open...
