Music is a way of life for me.It engulfs every aspect of my mind & soul. I respect any & all forms of music.....but my HEART lays in any type of electronic music. This is the music that helped me see light even in the dark & a glimmer of hope when there wasn't one. This music gave me strength, that can only come from faith, that some how, some way there is a better day.....No matter what god blesses me with in this life I will FOREVER hear these beats & rejoice when I remember ALL I have to be thankful for!!!!I DO IT EVERY DAY FOR THE LOVE OF THE MUSIC!
Movies:
FAVORITE OF ALL TIME IS FOREST GUMP. The Three Amigos is probably next in line. Eyes Wide Shut, The Color Purple....the probably Casino, Scarface, Goodfellas, Despardo, Constantine, Fear & Loathing in Las Vegas, The Boys & Girls Guide to Getting Down, 12 Monkey's, Dog Day Afternoon, Fight Club, Goonies, Princess Bride, Willow, Adaptation is a good flick & for some strange reason I really dig the whole Kill Bill saga. I'm one of those ppl that loves to get all scared by a good scary movie... so any of the retarded Nightmare on Elm Street movies, The Ring, The Blair Witch Project & more that I think I might have blocked out becuz maybe they were to stupid or to scary for me to recall. Then of course all the horse movies that I grew up to like National Velvet, Pharlap & The Black Stallion. I'm such a little kid when it comes to movies. I love The Never Ending Story, Legend & Labyrinth & of corse Disney flicks like my favorite of all time oldie is Dumbo & I LOVE Finding Nemo. I'm the biggest dork ever when it comes to movies, I swear.
Television:
The SOPRANOS....hands down the f'ing Pranos! I'm such a complete junkie when it comes to that show it's ridiculous. And officially it is over ***sadness sweeping over me***.....Maybe if I pray reeeeeally hard god will bring back the family for another season. Big fan of the Simpsons, Sex in the City, & seriously that retarded show on HBO "the Flight of the Concords" is really starting to grow on me. Love any NAT GEO! Got mad love for the Dog Whisperer- Cesar Milan!...lol.. I am a huge nature/history/science channel person- love anything that is going to enlighten my life in knowledge.
Books:
Currently reading "the Last Empress" by Anchee Min. I am indeed a major Harry Potter head. Love that whole series....although I haven't gotten around to reading the last one! (Nobody better tell me what happens!)...Special favorites are Empress Orchid, Snow Flower & the Secret Fan, the whole Clan of the Cave Bear series, Pay it Forward, any & all of Isabel Allende's books~ she is truly an amazing author. Pretty much any poetry I can get my hands on. Classics I love are 1984 & Black Beauty.
Heroes:
My beloved, beautiful & amazing Grandmother. In all ways & always will she be an inspiration to me. If I ever become even half of the woman she is today, I know that I have done something right in my life.
