This section is dedicated to quick thoughts on random days... 10/25/07: Today I realized I am getting old. I looked at the paper from my hometown and saw that my very first boyfriend (we were 6) is now a teacher at our old middle school. Not only that... a lot of my friends are teaching.. some at the schools WE went to. Damn, I am getting old. It has me thinking... maybe I should have done something else with my life... Then, I snap out of it and realize I have enjoyed frittering away my prime. Hmm.. thinking about it.. I love apple FRITTERS and PRIME rib. (Sorry - my add is catching up with me) Ooooh, a PENNY!10/8/07: Hey, guess what: I had no idea you can check out previous court cases filed on/by pretty much anyone. I don't know if each state has their own, but today I looked at WA state's website. You get a documented case every time you go in infront of a judge.. but they also list why the case was filed. So... i looked into a couple people who gave me issues in MY past.. hm. maybe I should have looked at their court history before dating them. Maybe by reading it... that should have been my red flag... What ever you do, don't look me up... you will find "Defendant - Keeps her pimp hand strong"9/25/07: Today I had about 6 kids come into my office. A lot of stuff was said but two really funny things that was said were: "They had a Santa here last year... You could tell he wasn't real.. He was MEXICAN!" and "My 1/2 sister has a real mom and a fake mom" (referring to a step-mother.) What kids say and how they see life cracks me up! Really.. why couldn't Santa be Mexican? The fake mom comment? just plain funny...9/24/07: Only several close friends and family know that the last couple months of my life have been filled with chaos. My strength and patience were tested... Some realities were exposed and difficult decisions made. One must remember that every day you are given the gift of life... you have the opportunity to mold the outcome!9/16 - Words once said can never be unsaid. The power of one person's word can and has caused wars, uncountable deaths, and utter destruction. We tend to remember the harsh words one says to us and they are etched into our mind...forever. I would like it to be true that this such case is the minority, but time before this is proof enough. Choose your words carefully. On the flip side... words can also bring happiness. Only you have that choice... will they be hurtful or will they bring happiness? You decide...9/17/07: When going through insurmountable piles of b.s. it is best to remember to bring breath mints... at least you will have fresh breath, right?5/25/07: The statement below was proven to me....5/24/07: Some random person came into my life to day and gave me this to ponder... "Never say always or never. God will come into your life and turn it upside down. What you thought was right will be left what was left will be right. Nothing is absolute"....
