He has notably played as Guitarist/composer with SOLOFO, BLAGUE A PART, LES BOUKAKES, SARAI, SANKOFA, FOUTA, JOSHUA, JAH MASON, (SOPHIE" madagascar), BINGUI JAA JAMMY, FAYA DREAD, GANG REBEL DU FASO, ARJEEN, SIMBO, ISIAH SHAKA and "the soul fire band", DIGITAL CUT, AYA WASKA, BETA SIMON, AND
the BASTOS/GROUP. Whilst participating in various groups he has also played as support artist for;GLADIATORS,BURNING SPEAR,I JA MAN LEVY, MAKA BE, THE WAILERS, LEE PERRY, TIKEN JA FAKOLY, SALIF KEITA, ETC...On some of these discs we
can hear SOPHIE, BINGUI JA JAMMY, DIGITAL CUT, PRINCESS K'SHU, GANG REBEL DU FASO, ARJEEN, SIMBO. BASTOS as longstanding experience ensures that
today we can all on him for various projects of different musical styles.
I grew up listening to Hendrix,Santana,Jeff Beck,Pink Floyd,Zappa,Marley,J.
Brown,Fela Kuti,Police,Van Halen,D.Reinhardt,E.Ranglin,Solofo,and many others
!...My roots are in rock,funk,reggae,,and the blues!...Bastos tell us,,,This
man fills with wonder,fascinates,captivates a multi-coloured audience composed
of passionate guitarists as well as unclassifiable music lovers in search of new
sensations.
